I am a convinced innovator in the field of digitalization and have managed various digital excellence projects, including the corporate start-up of a self-developed, cloud-based online marketplace for ordering production-relevant spare parts.

Before becoming self-employed, I was Head of Procurement Plant Operations for the Europe, Middle East & Africa operating segment in the Linde Gas division of Linde plc, where I was responsible for the successful post-merger integration in my area following the merger between Praxair Inc. and Linde AG. 

Before I was entrusted with this task, I worked in the EMEA area in various management and expert roles in Procurement & Supply Chain and was responsible for numerous strategic and operational projects.

I started my career at the then family-run electrical wholesaler Datzer GmbH & Co Kg in Schweinfurt with an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant, and then moved to the scheduling, logistics & purchasing department of today's ZF Group (formerly Mannesmann Sachs AG).

Expertise: 15 years in various management positions and a total of 25 years of professional experience in procurement and supply chain.

In my professional career, I have not only worked for well-known international companies such as LINDE plc (formerly Linde AG) and the ZF GROUP within and outside supply chain management, but also successfully implemented consulting projects as an independent advisor and consultant for renowned clients such as the BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP and EGON ZEHNDER. 

 

My experience from four major company mergers and from managing various transformation, restructuring and post-merger integration projects is a very valuable part of my expertise. In over 500 complex negotiations, I have not only continuously professionalized my negotiation skills, but also deepened my industry knowledge in the chemical, automotive, energy, construction, transport and logistics sectors.
